I can wait no longer

Our trip to the Dominican Republic was absolutely wonderful. It was exactly what we needed. We relaxed, we ate, we drank, we swam and we climbed waterfalls. It was really fantastic.

What was even better than that trip, though, was what happened 4 days later. We got THE CALL. Our social worker had told us that the Russian government would basically be closed from January 1st thru the 10th, so imagine my surprise when we got the THE CALL on the 10th. It was fantastic, but also very abstract. We have a blind referral for two children (boy and girl), both between the ages of 2 and 4. We know nothing else at this point, other than the region. They are in central Russia, not too far away from Moscow. We are still waiting for our travel dates, and we should get them sometime in the next couple days. This waiting is killing me!!!!

I haven't posted this prior to now because there are still some people that don't know, and I didn't want to post prior to getting travel dates. I can't wait any longer though!!!!

Our Tropical Honeymoon

Okay, so it took us 4 1/2 years to have our honeymoon, but we finally went on our honeymoon/last fling. We got back from our tropical paradise Sunday morning. Here's a rundown of our trip to Cofresi, Dominican Republic.
